One kernel, maintained in-house
Every Profile runs on Polychrome, a Chromium-based kernel we patch and maintain ourselves. Same isolation, same controls, for every Profile.
Each Profile's settings reach the kernel over a private launch channel, not command-line flags.
Is sync zero-knowledge?
No. Profiles, proxies, groups and the extension list are encrypted on your device before upload, but we keep a copy of the key so you can restore them when you sign in. The privacy policy says so in its sync section.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Profiles launch offline while the license ticket is valid, which is 24 hours on the free plan. The first launch needs a connection.
Do I have to sign in?
No. Without an account you can create two Profiles. A verified email raises that to five and turns on sync.
Are my cookies uploaded?
No. Cookies stay on this computer. Sync covers Profile settings, proxies, groups and the extension list.
Is there a macOS version?
Windows ships first. macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon follows; Intel Macs are not supported.
How do I verify a download?
Before you run an installer, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the value shown on the Download page.
